  • Coach Marshall's New Contract

This probably could be added to an old thread, but I am starting a new one. Sue me.

Jenn Bates tweeted that GM has a new contract, good until 2020. He gets $1.6 million, starting in November and bumps to $1.75 million in April 2014. The assistant salary pool also increases to $501,000.

Is that all? To me he is worth more than the guy up north. HCGM should be the highest paid state employee in Kansas.

He'll need to win a Gnashin' All Championship Tie Towel to get there.

Great news all around... ETR, ETR, ETR.

Although I have to admit the only data point in Marshall's contract I actually care about is the buyout amount...

                          BIG TIME BASKETBALL.

                          As stated by the Coach.

This bump just proves it. Very nice.

I wish that the assistants' pool was greater. Say $700K. Maybe $600K.

Finally, and of course there is all the bonus money available as well.

A nice TV coaches show wouldn't hurt either. So why doesn't he have one? Just asking.
