In our system, there is little to no difference between SG and SF. I don't think what they're listed as on the website has any effect on anything. Holland still may or may not redshirt, but I wouldn't base any judgement on it because of that. If you want to go off of that roster, we'd only have two players capable of playing SF in Early and Green. I highly doubt all 40 minutes are going to be split between those two on the wing.

The small forward spot, also referred to as the 3 or "wing guard" will be filled by Wessel, Wiggins, Green, Cotton and Baker. That same group will also fill the shooting guard position with the exception that Green and Wessel won't likely be on the floor at the same time as they can't guard the small quick cats at the SG position.

Is that what's called a "stretch four"? If I sound like an ignoramus that's because I am.

No. A stretch 4 is a PF who is able to play a face up game out to the 3-point line in addition to playing in the post. Think Cle or Doug McDermott.
