C) I skipped the video once all that BS talking started, I'm going to simply assume #mystate is a way of saying Wichita State is my state university? maybe..

Well --- I liked it okay. Loved the shot of the Final Four ring. Thought the shot of the kid on the bike could have been done better. I don't think the little guy even looked at Cle let alone showed any excitement at meeting him. Deadpan expression all the way. Like the fact that at least there is an effort that was sorely lacking before last year. Hope they keep working on it. This one was on a quiet level. Now if they would get one that had some jazz (excitement and energy) to it. Let's face it -- even #WatchUs didn't have a lot of energy to it. Don't want this one to be what they show on the big board though. Need some good music and pep for that one.

Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem getting to goshockers.com after the video? Or for that matter, skipping the video?

It's not just you. I think that's a pretty major glitch. Don't get me wrong. I've been loving the splash pages lately but if someone is wanting to go to goshockers.com for information, it's kinda bad when they can't even get there because after the video, everything stops. There's no "skip intro" or "now go to goshockers.com" links. I had to click on the little buy tickets icon under the video, which directed me to the ticketing site and then click on "home" to divert back to the actual goshockers.com home page.

That's pretty bad.

As far as the new marketing, it's ok. watchus kind of now has a brand with it. I dunno why you'd wanna get away from something so successful.

I had the same problem Doc. I could not figure how to navigate to goshockers.com.

Well, it was working last night, but you're right. Now it takes you back to the splash page.


The only other possibility that would make some sort of sense would be they are redoing the goshockers.com site and this little piece keeps everyone at bay until it's finished. Maybe? Hopefully?

Disagree. If anything it's a slam against the k-state AD marketing who has recently marketed kstate simply as "State"
