I may get roasted here, but I'm not as anti-Shaq as most. He was a massive project for sure but he became a 1st team All AAC player, quite an accomplishment from where he started. I think he was weak minded, which is why he gave up so quick in everything he did, whether that was practice, trying to go pro or staying quiet about the Marshall stuff. He didn't say anything until ******* came buzzing around and got tips from other players or families (my guess is TP or his family being the primary insiders, maybe even Patty Beamer). Shaq could've stayed silent for sure, but his weak mindedness didn't think it through. Maybe this is a stretch but it's how I perceive it.

No roast here, but you left out at least half (probably more), of the picture.

The problem with Shaquille is that without GM’s “tough love” demands, he would have become nothing as a basketball player, instead of a first tam All AAC player. His mother knew that and wouldn’t allow him to quit WSU. After his mother died, Shaquille became an empty suit again for others to take advantage of.
