I would guess that the primary reason Bobby is not in the Shocker Hall of Fame is that he only played for Wichita State for 2 years after 2 years of Juco ball.

Damn fine player though. Perhaps we should open up a JUCO transfer wing in the Shocker Hall of Fame because we have had a number of very fine two-year players. Especially in recent years with Clevin Hannah, Joe Ragland, Carl Hall, Ben Smith, Ramon Clemente and Ryan Martin. Perhaps that wing should also include D-1 transfers as well.

Any idea on what Juco Wilson attended?

I don't even know if he attended Shortridge HS in Indiana like his basketball reference page mentions. I contacted the president of the hall of fame at Shortridge who hasn't heard of Wilson and he attended school there the same time Wilson would've been there...

According to Wikipedia he attended Pasadena JC (1970-71) and Northeastern JC (1971-72) before matriculating to Wichita State.

Brings up a great point. At what time does WSU do more in honoring JUCO players who come to WSU. No doubt, we are going through one of our greatest eras in basketball and a large part of that success is due to the JUCO players Coach Marshall has brought in. They should be no less a part of our history.

Bobby Wilson is 4th in career scoring average at WSU.

Mo Evans and Greg Dreiling both attended WSU and made it to the NBA.
