Ah sorry. Was in a last second rush and didn't get to read it.

It is a Valley rule, but I believe just about every conference has a similar rule. I've been to basketball games in several conferences and venues. I've never seen a controversial replay. Now the NFL, that's a different animal...
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

This may be both the strangest and most hilarious post ever.

I am really not that old, but actually played in one Junior Varsity high school game in a gym with that type of clock. We had several people ill and at that time, you could only play 5 quarters a night. Our coach told me I had to dress for the JV game (I was a junior), and the coach said he would play me the third quarter. To make a long story short, the clock would never get below 1 minute, it would click back to 2 minutes left. The 6 minute quarter was long enough for me to score 18 points. I assure you I could not fill it up, so it must have been, oh 25 minutes in length. Obviously 10th of a seconds didn't register!

A scoreboard like that in a man cave would be killer!

You could probably get it for a decent price, but shipping $$ would also be killer.

It was also that way at the College World Series. They replayed nothing that was controversial on the video board inside the stadium. So I'd say in part it's the NCAA.

I posted the pic on Facebook and a friend of mine said it looked like a beer pong cup. First promo? :)

From the angle in the pic, does anyone else think the arena would look better if the ceiling and rafters were painted black?

I've also thought that rather than the scoreboards on the floor that are often obstructed from view for the players, put a scoreboard above the seating bowl straight behind each basket. But with the game and shot clock on the scoreboard, that may be not necessary. Or, maybe video displays on BOTH the scorer's table and across on the press tables, and display a game clock and score on those? I've seen that many times on TV.
