23 of the 25 teams are from BCS conferences or the remnants of the Big East for the most part. I am equally surprised not to see VCU in that group. Just plays to our advantage. Sporting News is reaching with Iowa, Harvard and Virginia for sure. Oklahoma State is a bit overrated, and I don't know why they think UCLA is going to be worthy of a top 25 ranking. I don't think Tennessee warrants a top 25 right now, but I do think they will be during the course of the season, and since we play them, I am glad they are there.

But who cares. It didn't matter last season and it won't matter this season.

We need to roll through the CBE like we did when we won the NIT, and never look back..

Same story we have heard before...just a different writer writing it. Stuck here for a few extra days on his recruiting visit because of Hurricane Irene. Really got to see Wichita for what it was...and bonded well with team and staff. Tragically lost his older brother in drowning accident. The article was written in April around Final Four time.

Early couldn't get out of Wichita because of Hurricane Irene so he had to stay longer, with NCAA approval. He went from leaning towards WSU to ultimately signing with the Shocks.
