His departure means only sophomore guards Kaza Keane and Nick Zeisloft return as scholarship players from last year’s 18-15 team.

With this most recent bit of roster upheaval, ISU now returns a grand total of 7 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game from last year. At least Keane was second on the team in assists, but Muller has absolutely cleaned house (which apparently was planned since there was a thread on ISU board in late March claiming that Dana Ford had told them they were going to clean out the roster).

          Absolutely.

Enjoy the downturn to sub-10 wins next season.

Or a more deserving player. I remember Allen coming into Koch I think two years ago and just being the biggest tool. At one point we were chanting air ball and he was doing a "raise the roof" type hand signal. After one of his teammates scored he sushed the crowd. I think the student section at the time was about to storm the court to shut him up.

He should turn over a couple assistants while he's at it.

Great reporting there. Didn't "Dana Ward" coach here? Wait, that was someone else.

I bet if he had stayed on with the Final Four Wichita State Shockers, his name would have been printed correctly.

Muller is running that program into the ground. I lost all respect for Muller when I heard about his instigation of the confrontation that occurred in the tunnel of Redbird Arena after the Carmichael Kung-Fu game last season. The guy is a joke. I guess one thing will be for certain, with all of the roster turnover Illinois State should be able to evaluate how Muller does with his own guys a lot quicker than anticipated.

That doesn't jive with my understanding of the facts.

Your facts must be missing a few pieces because the person who told me about the incident was directly confronted by Muller and this person has never told me something that wasn't true in the past so I trust what they told me.
