Shocker athletics. There maybe some that like the Shocks/shox just like there are some KU sympathizers on here, but obviously there are some people of rank that have a grudge against the athletic department, possibly because of their power and influence within Wichita.

I said it was people in a certain part of town, not a certain race of people in a certain part of town. I remember when I was driving in the NE part of Wichita one night and got stopped by the police. They asked what I was doing in this area of town, like they thought something must be going on for me to be driving there. So you don't have to be black to be stopped there. Also, I don't think the Mayor or Police Chief live there. I could be wrong though.

I agree but unfortunately just having the media reports on this alleged incident can have long lasting negative affects on the program. Just look at the case in 2008 when a woman accused Gene Stephenson of stalking her. The case was dropped but you still hear about it.
