NE Wichita. I thought this was obvious. This is based on people I have known for over 30 years who live in the area.

Shocker athletics. There maybe some that like the Shocks/shox just like there are some KU sympathizers on here, but obviously there are some people of rank that have a grudge against the athletic department, possibly because of their power and influence within Wichita.

Or maybe somebody had a little bit of hot news and really didn't think about it before flapping their jaws.

      I'll take scenario #2

Why are you beating around the bush? Just say you think the WPD is racist. But then again you will be faced with the facts that the Mayor is black, the police chief is black, the deputy police chief is black.

I'm not beating around the bush. I'm not saying all of the WPD is racist. It's a very small number. But you will have that in most groups.

I said it was people in a certain part of town, not a certain race of people in a certain part of town. I remember when I was driving in the NE part of Wichita one night and got stopped by the police. They asked what I was doing in this area of town, like they thought something must be going on for me to be driving there. So you don't have to be black to be stopped there. Also, I don't think the Mayor or Police Chief live there. I could be wrong though.

All I can go by is what I've seen, heard from others, or experienced myself.

Unless anyone has anything new, this topic needs to be closed. I hate to see fans air out dirty laundry on MVC talk especially when they don't know anything more than has been reported.

That's probably why they don't like Andover.

Apparently our dirty laundry is a player being essentially cleared of rape charges?

As regards the very last two sentences of this article, tied together in sequential order, all by their lonesome, and bound for all of digital eternity into a single paragraph: When a woman you have slept with asks for a sexual assault exam, you have definitely used up your eligibility.

Read down the page. If this is discussed anywhere, I think it should be here.

We have different definitions of dirty laundry.

Being essentially cleared of charges like this is generally considered "good news."

I agree but unfortunately just having the media reports on this alleged incident can have long lasting negative affects on the program. Just look at the case in 2008 when a woman accused Gene Stephenson of stalking her. The case was dropped but you still hear about it. It definitely hurt his reputation.

Unfortunately this incident of a woman claiming a WSU basketball senior raped her probably won't go quietly away. I wish it would, but I have a feeling it won't completely disappear. The media can be cruel. And so can fans of other teams.

Regarding the former, I suspect you do not have all of the facts.
