Were you following the topic when you went off on someone's opinion about FVV going to the NBA? I didn't realize this thread was titled "What are the chances FVV plays in the NBA?"

And I'm not trying to make a "big deal" about your criticism. However, you made 1 post calling what I said "ridiculous" and so I made 1 post in response showing where you did the exact same thing. Seems fair to me.

You keep mentioning a martyr complex and persecution. My comments about "not being allowed to have an opinion" were not directed at you. I give you credit, you gave your opinion and made a logical argument to back it up. My complaint was against the 3 comments that followed my initial opinion, all of which focused solely on me and completely ignored the opinion I gave. I didn't continue discussing the topic of FVV because I didn't have anything more to say. I never expected to see so much support for Fred's NBA chances.

I wish more posters were like you Rlh04d and actually responded with opinions of their own instead of like ShockerFever who always attempts to distract from the conversation and turn me into the topic with his snarky comments.

I'm really not even attempting to get this thread back on topic, but since some of the latest comments vaguely involve Fred........

I was breaking down film of the Gonzaga game this last weekend for fun and I noticed what great picks Fred set. Dude sets some monster screens and doesn't mind taking one in the chops if that's what it takes to get a guy open.

This is the stat line I want to see from him by his senior year to have a solid shot at the NBA: 13 ppg, 5-6 apg, 2 spg, 4 rpg, 40%+ from 3. I don't think that's out of the realm of possibility, although I certainly wouldn't bet on it. That's a better stat line than Armstead had this year, though, so he's going to need to work to get there. I don't know that that statline would definitely get him to the NBA even if he got to that point, but I think it'd be good enough to justify my 20-50% prediction depending on height.

Fred Van Vleet's stat line as of today:

12.3ppg, 5.3 apg, 2 spg, 4.1 rpg, 40.3% from 3.

In his sophomore season FVV's within .7ppg from what I was hoping to see from him as a senior, after three years of starting.
