Lets just savor it for awhile. We've critiqued and complained and banged our heads against the wall with this team plenty--it's time just to be grateful.

Marshall seemed very enthused about the future. I remember him saying he just can't wait until we 'get this thing going' because it's going to be great in Wichita when it does. That doesn't sound like a man who's anxious to leave. That sounds like a man who's looking forward to watching this program grow.

I'm going to say the same thing that everyone's been saying for the whole season... THIS TEAM NEVER QUITS. THEY GET AFTER IT AND REALLY PUT EFFORT OUT ON THE COURT. I'm just glad they finally got rewarded for it for a change.

Thankfully there isn't a limit on how many times one can post this at the end of a message within one thread...

Ok. just got home and haven't read a post since 7pm.

The alley to Cooz and the end was not the classiest thing I've ever seen, but this team deserved it, and I enjoyed it.

They deserved to enjoy this one a little bit.

A little rough around the edges at times, but the end result was very nice.

I thought it was a very entertaining game and a very good overall team effort.

I have no problem with the alley oop at the end of the game. This team deserved to end thier losing streak with an exclamation point at the end of the game.

Sounds like the transition hasn't gone as smoothly as you'd have wished for - but a big win sure does help.

Lack of depth, then injuries to that have made this a rough season. But the future is bright and we haven't given up on 'em. Hopefully this starts something and we can pull out a few more victories.

That was just a little payback for getting embarrassed in Springfield (and on the Deuce).

Guys looked strong in the OT. Yeah, we'll probably end up playing on Thursday in the MVC tournament, but the guys probably have the legs to pull it off (if the shots start falling, of course).

Crowd was GOOD tonight, no matter how many no-shows we had (I'm looking at YOU, ShockBand).

I intended to be there, but I'm on the Staff Parish committee at my church and the meeting went waaaaaay long. So I can say I was pulled away by a higher calling. I did get home in time to watch the OT on the U, though!
