As far as the topic of this thread "another deep run" consider this; HCGM and staff and these players have improved every year since HCGM showed up on a snowy day in April 2007. I expect and more importantly they (the team and coaches) expect that they will be better next year. Therefore, I'm upgrading my SASO this year and I expect I will get more than my money's worth.

That announcement was for the season that just ended. Coleby should be getting a ship fpr next year.

Our guards will be good. I will wait and see before I say anything about our bigs.

And Coleby is supposed to be pretty good on defense and is a lot better on offense than what EO was.
We should have a pretty great defense next year. That's something to never worry about with Marshall's teams ... they're going to play incredibly hard on defense and they're going to rebound VERY well.

I don't know how we'll do in steals compared to this last season, though. Armstead is the all-time steals leader, so I can't imagine FVV repeating that unless he learned a ton from him ... but FVV's pretty damn good at steals himself.

On the terms on the 3 points shooting, I think we are all forgetting about Derail Green. At the beginning of this year, Gregg Marshall said Derail was "the best shooter on the team." That may or may not be the case anymore, but that should mean he'll provide a lot from deep.

On the terms of deep runs, I just hope we pull a Louisville: Back-to-back Final Fours, the 2nd one turning into a National Championship!!
But I'd still be pretty happy with a Sweet 16 appearance.

Which Louisville; the men's basketball team, the women's basketball team, the football team or all of them?

Who do we want to be? I say Louisville! I say Cincinnati! We can be Memphis....We can be Louisville....We can be that combination of Boise State and Gonzaga. Why NOT.

Not sure how Colleges handle this but probably stretch this a little. Interesting other stats for Carl and more important are wingspan at 6'11 1/2" and reach at 8'8". Did not see a stat that measured Carl's heart tho.

Just for reference, Kenneth Faried also measured in at 6'6" without shoes, 7' wingspan, and 9' reach.

In other words, very similar with Faried having longer arms, but Carl having a broader body.
