I don't think anyone is saying they hate Seth Davis. Most of us realize that he has been supportive of our program in the past. The problem is that common sense would dictate that VCU and Harvard should not be included in the potential pool of 25 and not WSU. No rational thinking person would exclude a final 4 team that was returning so many pieces.

We also thought it was going to be tough to replace Stutz and Murry. We return a lot more experience this year than last.

Coleby hasn't played for us yet, but he does have 3 years experience
Early will probably be the MVC preseason POY
Baker may be the best all around player we had on this years team, and he's bound to get better.
Cotton is the best defensive player and toughest SOB in the conference.
FVV has come a long way and is ready to lead this team.
Wessel returns. He was out best outside threat when he went down.
Wiggins is a heck of an athlete and a real shooter.

We are adding a JUCO AA in Carter to help replace our inside losses.
We have a tall, sharp shooting RFR in Green to help our outside woes.
We have a FR PG coming in that 3G has said is a bigger FVV.
We have an assassin in Holland.
We have the best HS SR in OK coming in with a college ready body.

I know new guys can take some time, but we return a lot and have some very promising additions.

We have a lot more returning than last year and a lot coming in as well.

Jason King just posted an updated top 25 for 2013-14 and has WSU at 12. Pretty typical analysis of what the team will look like. It is interesting that he has VCU at 13. It sure would be nice to share a conference with them.

we will start out ranked between 15th to 20th, we have enough pieces back to warrant that ranking. If we lose early we will drop out depending on who are how bad. We wont have the same room for error as some of the blue bloods.

Didn't Seth pick WSU to go to the Final Four at some point kind of early in the tournament and then get up and walk off camera?

By all accounts we SHOULD be ranked a little better than even that. Jason King just yesterday released a list placing us at 12 which would seem a bit more accurate based on this years performance, returning players and quality of newcomers. If we did start out the season anywhere close to that mark it would provide a little bit of margin for error. But I would think it best if we just start the season out taking care of business.

Is there a chance in the world someone has a clip of that somewhere?

WSU lost about that many last year & was unranked & picked 4th in the Valley. It seems about right. We don't even know rather or not we get both Wiggins.
Lets hope for play in round at best & see where the ride takes us.

                          English please.

The Shockers were his darkhorse for the final four in a January article.

An 8-seed or lower could make the Final Four. It feels like that kind of year. A lot of very interesting teams, no real dominance at the top. A second-round upset like Butler-Pitt in 2011 will open up the 1- or 2-seed path for an outsider.
Another good prediction from that article
