I'm as excited for ORU and WKU as guarantee games as I would be for home-and-homes with a team like Tennessee. It's a major upgrade.

Posted on this site by Okie State today that OSU is looking to start a N/N series beginning at Chesapeake in OKC on 12/14 and a return the next season at a neutral site near the opponents home. Can't believe the schools haven't talked already. OSU must have had some one back out last minute.

Also saw Tulsa released schedule and shows playing WSU November 20th on a Wednesday. Obviously they are trying to avoid the Koch South scenario!

This looks like a natural game for WSU. OSU is looking to have a great season. WSU's F4 may give the Shox a legitimate shot at this series. An OSU loss wouldn't be disastrous to OSU. In fact, it would probably give them a high-quality OOC opponent.

The downside is that WSU is recruiting OK pretty hard right now and a loss to WSU would give WSU more recruiting strength in OK. That could be the kiss of death for this potential series. Another negative is that the staff at OSU is probably more aware of WSU's potential next year than the national pundits and writers. If the OSU staff thinks it's a tough game to win and the pundits and writers think it's a game OSU should win by 5 or 6, then it's a game OSU can't schedule.
