Although this is totally speculative, this is what I believe is the most likely scenario:

1) Watson is ineligible due to academic issues.

2A) A second player is ineligible or does not come to WSU.
2B) A second player decides to pay his own way
2C) A player does not return; in order of likelihood: White, Green, Lufile, Wiggins, other.

I think that is a reasonable speculation. Of your three #2 possibilities I see 2C as the most likely. Someone will decide they would be happier being a bigger fish in a smaller pond or at least a pond populated with fewer alpha fishes and I see 2B as the least likely despite recent history unless, of course, Gregg and Lynn decide to adopt a big brother for Kellen.

But the way things have been going anything is possible I suppose.

Andrew is welcome as a preferred walk-on. He can pay off any student loans with walking around money in couple of years.

Keeping everyone is not necessarily the best option for either the player or the team. That would give us a roster of 17 including Zach Bush and J.R. Simon. At some point an oversized roster is just more trouble than its worth and just increases the chances for infecting team chemistry.

Yet another thought..........Watson DOES come here, pays his own way while getting the credits he needs to get his 2 year degreee, and then takes a skollie next year. He would not be allowed to practice with the team in this scenario, though.
