Lufile was the 11th man on an 11-man roster. Late in the season, when Jake White was sometimes wearing a boot between games, he was still coming off the bench before Lufile - and getting more minutes than Lufile.

I think he will get more time.... but what he does with that time may shorten his court time.

I.E.- he plays like crap, minutes get cut
Plays well and makes a difference, minutes increased

Lufile can still be a difference maker on this team next year. Not likely as a starter, but he can certainly be the back-up center and give 10-15 quality minutes at 6-9, 250.

Nice thought for 2013-14: We will have THREE ATHLETIC JUMPING JACKS THAT ARE ~ 6-9, 255!!!

Coleby is 6-9 251, Lufile is 6-9, 251, Morris is 6-8, 260 (and growing).

Although this is totally speculative, this is what I believe is the most likely scenario:

1) Watson is ineligible due to academic issues.

2A) A second player is ineligible or does not come to WSU.
2B) A second player decides to pay his own way
2C) A player does not return; in order of likelihood: White, Green, Lufile, Wiggins, other.

Something will change with the current roster. I don't see two people in this group, or on the current roster, paying their own way. We currently sit at 15 committed to scholarships and only 13 are allowed.

I don't think there's a limit to walk-ons. But you can only suit/play 15 in a game.


As of right now, it's all speculation and I have no solid info on anything. But if I had to guess, Watson doesn't get here due to academics and CJ leaves due to the prospect of little playing time.
