That depends on how next years roster looks. If we lose a would be SR, that's one less we'll have available for 14-15. So that number is up in the air at the moment. If all current JRs stay, we'd be looking at 4 I believe. Wiggins, Lufile, Early and Coleby. Unless I'm missing someone else at the moment.

Doesn't Early only have one year left?

If I recall correctly, Durley had a decent offensive game as a freshman, but his defense was pretty lacking.

This was also based on the limited minutes he would get, so maybe his conditioning wasn't too great, either.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

His conditioning was poor. His D got better, but he was never that good.

Please post the link to what you saw about Kadeem leaving. I'm not buying into this very sketchy (at best)...not even sure what to call it!

              It's an AP article

"The Shockers' heart and soul, all-energy forward Carl Hall, will have graduated, and senior guard Malcolm Armstead - whose poise was so crucial in March - will be gone. Role players Ehimen Orukpe, Demetric Williams and Kadeem Coleby will also move on with their lives."

Pretty clear the reporter simply lumped Kadeem with other seniors.

Roster as of now, I think.
This illustrates so many bodies we have in the 3/4 spot part of why A. Wiggins would be a long shot for sure other than the obvious.
I would go for bringing him on as long as we work something out for the guys we have recruited and committed to.

If we got Andrew Wiggins, he'd have to learn Marshall's system. Marshall isn't going to learn his system, which is basically, give the ball to Andrew and get out of the way.

Andrew or no Andrew, we don't know if we are done recruiting for next season.

In the past 20 years, the best freshman bigs were Durley (who was a red shirt) and Darren Williams. In the Thompson era, we had Jamie Arnold. Not sure if that was 20 years or more.

not a problem. I was/am at work also reading it and pooped my pants thinking.... now he is a senior but never played and was hardly mentioned.... Then I realized he had to sit out a year.

I was going to ask this in another thread but deleted my post as it wasn't the proper forum. But since we are talking about big men, here is my question. Exactly what does CJ bring to the table? He hardly gets any playing time and when he is in he usually makes some boneheaded play that gets him yanked quick. I've seen him perform well on maybe one occasion. Am I being too hard on him?

                              His production is a concern.

He does bring height and girth. He also has good hands and is a decent rebounder, and is very fast for a big guy, so he has lot of the physcial attributes. I think at this point he needs to learn the system and get meaner underneath. Having a year in the system, he's in the best position for minutes next year but it's all up to him.
