Cle is big time and no doubt has NBA size and skill, but he needs to be stronger with his handles in the open court and MUCH more physical under the basket. If he makes those adjustments, he'll be on some All-American lists in 2014. He's also going to be a strong candidate for MVC POY regardless of his offseason improvement.

He needs serious attention to his foot work. With his size, speed and athleticism, he doesn't drive around slower front court players the way he probably should. Do you remember that run out pass in the second half yesterday which put him 1-on-1 with a big? He tried to juke the player, but crossed his feet and stumbled a bit. Next year he hopefully will drive around that big and finish with a highlight dunk.

Once that team came apart, MT couldn't put it back together again, and then he got the heck out of Dodge. That's not happening again.

Having said that, a trip to the Final Four requires a lot of things to go your way, and next year's Shocks could easily be better but have a stumble along the way that brings them up short. But Butler did it two years in a row, the second time without their best player, and they even went one game deeper. So yes, this is absolutely one to savor and remember forever -- but a repeat (or more) is certainly possible, and I for one am not about to doubt that whatever Brad Stevens and his program could do, Marshall and WSU can match.

On to Arlington!

I'm projecting here, if FVV, Baker and Cotton represent three of the five starters, our backcourt will be rather small. Do you foresee that being an issue?

Sub in Wiggins, Wessel and/or Derail Green when size is an issue. All the sudden you are big again.

At this point, since we're now two over the limit, who knows what our line-up will be. Something tells me that the frontcourt players are going to be affected by this issue.

No chance, and this isn't meant to be any disrespect to Cle. However, he hasn't been on any projected draft boards (even for the 2nd round). One great game in the Final 4 won't all of a sudden get him on the draft board. However, what it will do is help him me get on the radar for next year.

One thing that really excites me about next Season is I think we will be more equipped with sharp-shooters. Can you really have enough solid shooters and scorers on a team? I hope our players work on that aspect as much as any other area.

Ron Baker had fewer stars than there are stop lights in his hometown.

He's now probably considered one of the better Fr guards in D1 ball. If Marshall would have signed a 4- or 5-star player, the media would have been all over it. When Marshall signed a guy who is every bit as good as any 4- or 5-star guard around, he got no recognition at all. It seems it would be more difficult to find a guy that the entire nation missed than to find one that absolutely everyone knew about.

Next year's So class appears to be the best class at WSU since Carr/Levingston. There may be a few underrated players in that class.

A star was born in the NCAA tournament. Baker and Wessell will be the new bookends at WSU - bookend guards, but their impact is going to be huge for us over the next 3 years...
