That is no loss to MSU. It's a little worse (but not much) than if Burley was out for us. He's only played in a few games this year.

That being said, why they do not have any walkons is beyond me.

With only 13 scholarships you need bodies to practice. I just don't understand it. I don't know who deserves the blame in Springfield, but their once proud program is rapidly heading for rinky-dink classification. Their support is below average and while JQH has thrown millions upon millions at the school, they do not seem to be reaping any rewards.

Still, we are going to be up against it on Tuesday. Of their 8 players available, 5 of them could easily outscore our entire team.

Another supreme effort along with a break (or 10) will be needed to bring home a win.

Our crowd will electrify these Shocks to hit off of all 8 cylinders for a "finer than a frog hair" win.

Da Bears have not won a road game yet this year. They lost to Evansville over the weekend. Hopefully we won't be their first road win.

We will still have to play our best to win.

If we can contain Lamberth, we have a chance. With MSU's lack of depth, I think we can afford to play a little more man-to-man to help minimize the long-range damage.

                To the Basketball Gods...

Please give us a ray of hope, and allow our Shocker Faithful, coaching staff, and players to catch a break.

Agreed, vbird, but fixed for order of importance, that's all.

Maybe we should all show up on crutches and with head bandages as a show of solidarity. If nothing else the crutches would be useful to smack some sense into the officials if need be.

JUST KIDDING! I wouldn't hit 'em. Hard.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

That's great and all, but we haven't won a home Valley game this year. So, that cancels that out.

I thought we'd have a decent chance for a W on Saturday but that was quickly doused in a hurry. I'd say it's a 50/50 chance for the W.

Again, also remember we got blown out of the water by about 25 against this team a couple weeks ago.

                          ... No really, deuces.

Somebody feed the remaining players the nine-day old Chinese food from my fridge. Then WSU's scoring wouldn't be the only runs happening on the court.

                              Eww.
