He is a sports business reporter. He is on ESPN Chicago a lot so I hear him quiteva bit. He has some good insight if you like that sort of stuff.

Nope it is because our white Unis are just a package of Fruit of the Loom and some Sharpies. A Couple of our guys can't draw straight.

They don't, but star point guard Malcolm Armstead wanted to play for Marshall so bad he took out student loans and paid full tuition just to do it. He even had to take a part-time job as a car runner for Lubbers Ford in town.

No, but the school does. They have no uniform deal, unlike most Division I schools.

The Nike dri-fit, cool-fit, whatchamacalit-fit with the back panels designs are cool. The designs are sublte but really are school specific. Would be awesome to see one of those back panels with wheatstalks. Unfortunately, I think this style by Nike is on the way out.

Even the most epidermisly challenged person should not find this article demeaning. Anyway, hopefully the team can parlay this magical run not only into a NC (we would be the first modern mid-major to win it all according to the article), but into Nike sponsoring our shoes and uniforms. Oh and if we are so lucky to win it all, this team would go down into sports history and would be discussed for generations. That would be something.

Wichita State athletics generates 22 million a year in revenue and receives almost 7 million a year in private contributions, nobody is paying for their own jerseys.

Ok then ASM, you're right. The highlighter unis are by a different company. Nike's WAAAAY out in front of them when it comes to ugly. Just look at Oregon Football.

BUt this makes a hell of a lot of sense. No wonder it's impossible to find a Wichita State jersey anywhere online!

What pisses me off is that, as a tall man, it's nearly impossible to find any WSU apparrel in tall sizes.

Then here's another. If San Antonio acknowledged the existence of College Basketball, then because of the way several Shocker fans have carried themselves on this board I wouldn't wear my Shocker gear in public. Seriously. We're in the Final Four, and we've got people ripping on polite guests, jumping down each other's throats, and generally acting like a poisonous fan base.

TLDR; I love the SHOX, but I'm not a Shockernet fan right now.
