      Apology accepted. He acknowledged that he has railed on coaches in the past for jumping, and here he has a coach who is true to his word and he "missed it."

        Here is what an apology looks like: "I am sorry, I did ambushed HCGM, my opening line of questions was out of line. It want happen again."

        Not the drivel DP gives. "I miscalculated his response", or "I don't ambush and didn't ambush, but he thought differently." And then, much like that jeff guy on the show, you think it is all forgiven if I compliment you after I have shived you.

        DP = LOSER

          He acknowledged that he does not usually ask those types of questions without thinking through what the response would be. And it was not intended to be an ambush and that he miscalculated (screwed up) and it came across that way. I don't know that DP is a loser all the time. He was yesterday. He was not today.

                DP walks it back, he's still a Douche Canoe in my book. If I see him in ATL I'll punch him in his twig and berries.

                  Now that is good stuff! Just don't linger if you do punch him in his twig and berries. Wait a minute, is this Elijah Johnson?

                    dp is a loser starting out that way, no way does he start out that way with Self or Pitino. Caught GM off guard but coach handled it well. Im sure coach was wanting to talk about his players and the amazing run they are making, not what a bunch of jealous coaches and talking heads think. Good job coach and lets keep this going for a few more games.

                        • Thank you Coach Kresse! :applause:

                          Marshall stayed at Winthrop for nine seasons and is wrapping up his sixth at Wichita State. By almost any measure, but especially in the coaching business, that is stability. One of his mentors is former College of Charleston coach John Kresse, who stayed 23 years at one school and won almost 80 percent of his games.
                          It is his hope that Marshall, 50, follows a similar path.
                          “I hope he stays at Wichita State,” Kresse said. “I found my paradise. Being at a place where you feel comfortable and well-thought of is very, very important. At Wichita State, he can continue winning and growing the program and being an important part of that community. I hope he’s found his paradise.”
                          Marshall invited Kresse to Atlanta for the Final Four. Kresse accepted the offer and will eat dinner with the team on Friday and sit with Marshall’s family during Saturday’s game against Louisville.

                          • Hopefully HCGM listens to Kresse and stays for the long haul. He is the man here. I hope he is extremely happy here and does stay until retirement. Maybe the roundhouse roof can have a picture of him on it for everyone to see from up above.

                            • The thing that really bothers me about all of this is DP is so big on coaches living up to their contract. He often talks about it as a marriage (it isn't). He goes on and on about how dirty college coaching is and how they use other job openings to get more money and blah blah blah. But here he had a chance to talk to a guy who doesn't do that, who doesn't play that game, and he blew it.

                              But I don't listen to DP for College Basketball. He is all football all the time.

                                I think his show is boring and his interviews are lifeless on the radio. I kind of like it when you see it on tv and they're doing the whole over aged frat boy stuff on set.
