I'd heard the same arguments about Gonzaga before we played them. I was surprised by how physical they were, except for Olynyk who flopped way too much. They got 21 offensive rebounds against us which is the most we've given up on the season by far. They came back from an early deficit to take the lead in the second half. It's sad that some people use that game as the basis to call them overrated.

Way to take what was written out of context. Where in what I wrote did you read they were over rated because WSU beat them? Way to focus on one part and try to find a negative in it, but disregard the compliments I paid to the Shockers. Now you are just reading between the lines to TRY to find insults because that's what you feel everyone is doing, so I must be doing that too. Calm down. I never said you thought Wichita State was overrated because Gonzaga was overrated. I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself well enough above. The point of that post was to say that I thought the same thing about Gonzaga too. I thought they were going to be weaker and less physical than Pittsburgh and that we'd beat them on the glass. That turned out to be incorrect. The last sentence wasn't directed at anyone in particular. At least not anyone currently posting in this thread. Mainly, people on TV will point to that loss as proof that Gonzaga is overrated when they actually played well and showed some toughness that I didn't expect from them.

With this intuitive discernment you shared, it becomes crystal clear that our beloved Shocks are in good shape this coming Saturday. Thus, I am very glad that the experts are so very sure L-VILLE will win with a cake-walk. That way, when the stars align just right, there will be an ecclesiastical eclispe in the mindset of all involved and SN will be forever call this revelation that becomes reality: "Sun Kung Wu Told U So Shocker Surpass."

Teams like Butler, George Mason, the Zags, Indiana State etc. have ran into a brick wall at the Final 4 in either the first or second game. It is high time our Shockers defy the odds and make the whole world happy knowing this can happen and sooner or later it will happen. When the game first starts, I believe lots of folk will just know L-Ville will win. However, as the game progresses and we are right there in it , many will smell an upset and start pulling for our Shockers. IMO, this game will go down to the wire and our team of destiny will win by at least 1 point, hopefully more with us making needed throws to seal the deal.

My apologies, I misunderstood. The one thing I can say about Gonzaga was I really liked Pangos. Pangos was a sharp shooter from the 3 point line, who wasn't overly big, but wasn't afraid to body up anyone. Outside of him I could have cared less for the rest of their team. I can see what you all mean about the talking heads though and how they don't give you all any credit. It actually reminds me of how all those football experts gave U of L no chance in the Sugar Bowl against the mighty Florida Gators. I can only hope for my teams sake, that this situation ends up being different.
