Because you can't focus on taking one thing away, without getting burned by something else.

Good teams have a way of doing that.....

    Gotta pick your poison.

Joneildu has come to our board because he is nervous - as he should be.

I can't help you Joneildu, I don't know why we keep beating teams loaded with 4 & 5 star recruits - we just do. There's a good chance we will beat your team as well. The gods are just on our side. After decades of horrible things happening to our program: plane crash, multi-pronged attacks by KU, greatest sufferer of last-second threes in the history of competitive basketball... we are just due a shitload of positive karma and seem to be getting it all in one lump sum.

I agree the offense isn't complicated. The BE champ game was entertaining. I can't help thinking a normal coach would have gone man at some point after his zone starts getting shredded which led to the press which led to more easy buckets. Nice job punishing boeheim though. He's one of my least favorite coaches of all time.

I did this on the oregon forums as well. Teams I don't know much about, I'll spend a deal of time on their forums, and I like to participate. Games are much more enjoyable to watch when you know more about the opposing team than what number they are and what position the play. Nerves really have nothing to do with it.

Joneildu, does anything we do scare you? I keep looking at Louisville, and I can see where you guys can beat us, I just don't see where we can beat you. What scares you about us?
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

If you want some funny quotes, go read the Duke forums. They were screaming through their keyboards for Duke to switch to a zone. As if that would be something new for Louisville to deal with. And teams that are exclusively man really can't run an effective zone on a whim.

Wasn't Pitino known first as a top-notch zone coach? You'd think he'd be able to dissect a hastily thrown together zone, especially on a team like Duke that doesn't really have the personnel for a zone (at least, not the type of zone that would have a chance against Louisville's speed).

I'll be honest, I have no clue. I don't know how the hell you guys have gotten this far. You fit absolutely no mold of mid major teams that have been this far before. That's the ultimate compliment to your program and coach. You're not a team full of seniors, you lost 5 starters, you weren't projected to do much. There's no reason anyone should be scared. And yet, you're in the final four. Kanye would say that ish cray.

So I guess it's the unknown. You guys have led every team in this tournament by no less than 13 points. I don't know how. I hope Pitino does.

Anything you wanted to know about our team could be gleaned from the 3.2 million threads that have been created in the last few weeks on this forum. You on the other hand started a thread with an encyclopedia of information about your team which sounded more like a NIKE commercial than a friendly exchange of information. People that do that usually lack full confidence in the situation and expect a bit of an argument over the "data" shared. SB Shock's response to your original post pretty much nailed the reason why you are here posting.

We have a very athletic 7 foot Nigerian that doesn't know a boatload about basketball but likes to crack 5 star centers in their dome with his elbow. Will that be effective on Diegn?

Well, Dieng is a 7 foot Senegal native who didn't know a lick of basketball or English. Lets call it a wash.
