Sorry, not up on you guys or Creighton, for that matter. That is why I have discovered your site to be very informative. Heard you guys had to overcome some poor officiating in the OS game. Didn't get that from here, but a neutral site. Our fear is that the game will be called ultra closely and our guards will get into foul trouble early.
Frankly, I think we have some of the same concerns about a closely called game since we have guards who are not as lightening quick as Smith and Siva, but who are bigger and stronger than they are. If we aren't allowed to play physical with those two, I'm afraid it could be a long night of seeing them at the free throw line (although as you note, a closely called game could hurt them equally on the other end of the floor). I think both teams would prefer a loosely called game and let the chips fall where they may.Last edited by The Mad Hatter; April 3, 2013, 11:20 PM."Cotton scared me - I left him alone." - B4MSU (Bear Nation poster) in reference to heckling players

Originally posted by Cuttyhunk View PostI apologize for this fan who identifies himself as a Card fan. He is either ignorant, a child, or a UK fan that some times follow our boards and like to flame out pretending they are Card fans. Ignore him please. I agree about wiping the slate clean. Nothing really matters except what occurs on the court. I was just not sure how Hall could go 4-14 underneath. He is your center, right? Will he pull our center outside?
If he is a UK fan or a disgruntled OSU fan or any fan impersonating another team's fan base, words don't describe how pathetic a life that one must leave. Maybe that's what happens to people though when they get Robert Morris'ed.
Regardless, if it is a UL fan, we've seen the same stuff before. If we win, they'll never show their face again, much like it has been with the Ohio State trolls from last week. All talk, but no walk. P*ssies.Deuces Valley.

Whatever happens Saturday, I will stop back and check in periodically. You've got a great forum. And should you knock us out, I will be rooting for you to finish it off. I am kind of worried about the Kevin Ware issue being too much a distraction. Time to play some basketball! The week seems to be dragging out. I am going to watch a couple of your tournament games and get better acquainted. Probably will stop back with some more questions.

Fwiw, I'm not saying you should dismiss the NIU and ISU games because they happened a long time ago, I said using it as a data point of comparison is logically flawed. Just because WSU beat ISU by more than UL did means little to nothing when analyzing how well WSU would play Louisville.

the games i saw of missouri and pressey, it seems that pressy is the main ball handler, we have about 4 to 5 guard/forward type players that handle the ball pretty solid. We also will play our two point guards at one time. We also look to score once the press is broke. People who have not seen the shocks play fail to realize that we love a full out running game, i see alot of layups and open 3's in our future....

Originally posted by KC Shox View PostYou mean I can't extrapolate Louisville beat Duke, Duke beat Creighton, Creighton beat WSU twice, therefore Louisville > Wichita State? That Card fan certainly feels this is mathematically correct.
WSU > Iowa > Virginia > Duke > Loo-evil
or you can go
WSU > VCU > FGCU > Georgetown > Loo-evil
or
WSU > Pitt > Georgetown > Loo-evil
Therefore we're gonna win!!!Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!
