I don't think anyone has any idea who he's interested in and who he's not. He's been incredibly tight-lipped about the entire thing.

I've never even actually heard him say he has a top 4. As far as I know it's just assumed based on what coaches come to see him regularly.

I believe we have signed recruits before who have not had us listed as an "official," but those have not been highly visible recruits such as Andrew.

Andrew is going to come to WSU and live with Nick. During the 2013-2014 season they are going to pick out furniture in their spare time to furnish Andrew's future million dollar home in whatever city Andrew's new team is located. At the end of the season, Nick will move with Andrew and become Andrew's manager. Cle' will leave with them as well and earn a spot on Andrew's NBA team during summer scrimmages.

I've been very impressed with his handling of the situation. Great player, and seems like a great kid as well.

Yes. I'm already banking on it. This season tipped the scales toward WSU. This is a final four people. Why do we need to pretend like the other options are still better than here. Marshall is just now beginning his iron clad reign of terror and the best recruit in the nation is the next step.

If Marshall lands wiggins 2.0, we better be ready to buy him a space ship because a private jet isn't good enough.

Second, what poor soul(s) is GM going to cut from the team since we're already one over the limit? Basketball Lord knows I would love the younger Wiggins to come to our fine program and carry us to another Final Four season, but at what cost? All on the account of a one-and-done player?

wiggins pay his own way (future earnings alone would be enough to make this a non-issue). A chance to play with his brother for the 1 year remaining is worth more than money to a lot of people!

How bout Nick forgo his "scholarship" status for his senior year and take a student loan out for next year. Brother Andrew can take brother Nick's scholarship next year and then pay off Nick's loan with NBA money. That way they can go to another Final Four next year together. Yeah....that's what they should do!!!!

I actually agree with this. Marshall is the kind of guy whose blood runs deep and I bet he'd have a really hard time 'cutting' one of the great guys on our roster for anyone.
This will be an interesting situation and a good problem to have if it even does become an issue. For now, I'm just having fun with it.

1. If Nick says his choice will Shock the nation, than this implies that Andrew has made a decision.
2. If he's made a decision, what is gained by waiting another few weeks?
3. If Andrew Wiggins decides he wants to play at WSU, someone will be asked to leave if there isn't enough room.

I am not entirely sure that #3 would shake out, but my gut feeling is that if we have a chance to get a player like Andrew Wiggins, you do what you have to do to bring him in. He gives you a much better chance at repeating the success of this year, and 2 years of success like this year could set our program up for years to come on multiple levels. And at the end of the day, 3G will act in the best interests of his program, as would 99% of any CEO or leader of an organization.
