Hahaha, silver. But still ... at prices these days, you might just have a point!

I like this thread. It's like when the Powerball Jackpot get to 300 million. It's fun to dream about what-ifs and the possibilities despite the realities of light year long odds. Andrew is doing the same for me attending WSU.

I'm glad we have a guy that we pay a good salary to field questions of this sort. But with his recent success and expecting him to answer question of this sort while performing his present duties at an extraordinary level to ask him to take on this mental exercise would require us to give him some more $$$. And let's face it we are going to have to pay him more bucks.

I am pretty sure that WSU can raise the money for outstanding performance.

Compensation will never be a problem.

If Coach Marshall leaves, other factors, besides money, will persuade him to leave.

Hey if KSU could land Beasley why not this guy? To me there are some similarities other than we're a better program than KSU had at that time. We've got to start believing in our program. Why not us?

                    3. If Andrew Wiggins decides he wants to play at WSU, someone will be asked to leave if there isn't enough room.

I am not entirely sure that #3 would shake out, but my gut feeling is that if we have a chance to get a player like Andrew Wiggins, you do what you have to do to bring him in. He gives you a much better chance at repeating the success of this year, and 2 years of success like this year could set our program up for years to come on multiple levels. And at the end of the day, 3G will act in the best interests of his program, as would 99% of any CEO or leader of an organization.
Andrew could come as a preferred walk-on. If he is a one and done, he will have no problem paying off a student loan for out of state tuition. His parents move to Wichita for the year. Piece of cake... in my dreams....

That doesn't matter if WSU is taking care of business. If we do what we need to do, even if we don't win in STL, we dance. And with a good seed.

Because we're not going to hire Bob Huggins and Delonte Hill. Besides, I think the NCAA now has a rule to eliminate the hiring of first-time assistants (ie. AAU, high school coaches and player dads) that bring along recruits.

It's a lot of fun to dream -- as long as everyone realizes that is just what it is.

Ha, ha. I was dreaming with you. Andrew would not have any problem in walking into a commerical bank and getting a loan to cover school expenses for one year. He might need an introduction, but it can be done.

That's obvious. The comparison is that Beasley came to the lil apple as a result of connections. Well there's a strong connection in our case as well.
