To be precise, it was the second round. We beat Bye U. in the first round. LOL. We lost to Phi Slamma Jamma in the second, as did a lot of other teams as Houston went on to the first of three straight Final Fours in that tournament... Still happy you guys are going to the FF.

Sure wish Tulsa was still in the Valley, but totally understand why they are not...but THRILLED they are regularly back on the schedule.

Ditto ... not being in the same conference perhaps diminishes the intensity of the rivalry but I hope we play the Shockers every year. WSU is solid on our schedule. Who knows this year, we can say we played a FF entrant (maybe NC) at their place in a very close game -- we only lost by 26. LOL. Yep, we would still be joined at the hip with WSU if you all still played football. Just announced we are bolting to the Old Big East, which will have some pretty good B-ball teams -- Cincy, Memphis, UConn, and Temple. Not horrible football with Houston, us frankly, ECU, South Florida and Central Florida and, as of late, Cincy...now if D-Mann can just get us back to where Self had us, we can have a good rivalry again with you guys.
