Can you get student tickets e-ticket?
No. Good news is that students tickets are super cheap. Like $25 gets you into Saturday and Monday. Bad news is your tickets suck. Half are on the floor behind the basket, but at no incline. There will be like 20-30 rows. If you aren't picky and can enjoy, you're paying only $25 to see the Final Four, so the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.
And you can't resell them anymore either, so if you get knocked out and want to recoup costs, forget about it. Students have to pickup tickets each day at the arena with an ID, and you have to go straight in.
Are there any SASO donors on here? Curious if they sent out any preorder information. I'm a donor to Miami donor, and they sent out an email before the ACC Tournament started, if we wanted NCAA Tournament tickets, including FF, we had to preorder them before Selection Sunday to be guaranteed a ticket. I want to see if joining the Shocker Club is worth it, or if it is too late to join and I wouldn't be able to order FF tickets. I'll give a call on Monday morning, but I'm sure they will be quite busy.

WSU students have to show their ID'd at the georgia dome to buy the tickets? Or what? Sorry, I'm just trying to get all of my information before deciding what I need to do.

That's what he said. Probably very similar to the Valley Tournament. Just show up before the game at a designated area and show your ID and pay for the ticket and then walk directly into the designated seating area.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.
The radio silence on the tickets is a bit frustrating. I'm a long time season ticket holder and would love to go. But I'd prefer to take a car and find my own lodging, but would like to sit with the Shocks section. Are they going to offer just tickets ever (LIke LA) or only offer the packages?

The NCAA requires each school to sell a certain amount of hotel rooms. Once the hotel quota has been met, you'll likely be able to purchase tickets only
Another place to look for tickets is Ebay... I ended up selling mine about a week ago (we just had a baby on Friday so my prospects of going to the game were shot). Ended up watching the sweet 16 and elite 8 from a hospital in North Carolina.
As a point of reference, face value for the tickets are $230 a piece for section 200 tickets and about $180 for section 300 tickets for the two semi games and one final if they were purchased thru the lottery as mine (and the majority of non-commercial tickets) were. Ebay puts a 9% fee on top of these sales. I think there will be a large inventory due to the fact that there are fans from schools like Kentucky and KU that thought they were locks to make the tourney trying to get rid of their tickets, whereas fans from Syracuse and Wichita State were probably a bit less optimistic.
Also keep in mind that the majority of tickets this year are electronic (not your typical paper tickets), which will elimate the secondary scalping market that would see outside of the arena in past years, so you don't have the people getting tickets now that would have typically tried to sell them for a premium at the gate.
Best of luck to those fans travelling to the game. I'll be watching from my couch and cheering from afar with my newborn son!
