  • Ohio State vs. Arizona

We're all watching it, might as well have it's own thread.

Pulling for Arizona because (1) they are wildly streaky and (2) screw Ohio State.

Pretty well played so far. Craft strikes me as a more hyper Gibbs.

We can't cover the 3, we can't get a rebound, we can't make a shot we are getting stomped right now...not looking good for my Buckeyes right now. Getting torched.

12 total fouls called already. Hope these refs are not your crew as well.

I was just going to comment that the refs are calling the game pretty tight. Not a lot of contact that's not getting called. I haven't seen many ticky-tack kind of fouls getting called. They're just not letting the game get real physical.

Yeah, he's like Gibbs with athleticism. Can't shoot a three to save his life though (unless playing Iowa State).

15 total fouls and counting. The end of the game will come down to Matta and some ball boys vs Miller and some ball boys at this current rate of fouls.

Reminds me of the 2007 2nd round game when then #1 seed Ohio State trailed #9 seed Xavier all game long until Ohio State pulled a miracle late getting a missed FT and a 3 point bomb with 2 seconds left to send it to OT where OSU went on to win.

Miller was Xavier's coach in 2007.

So at the under 8 time out, Ohio St / AZ has 1 less point than Marq / MIA has at half.

So who does WSU match up best against? I am rooting against OSU because I grew up a Michigan fan and it's just habit. However, if they are a better matchup for the shocks, i can switch. I am thinking OSU is better. Not very good shooting and Zona seems more athletic.

I like us versus Ohio State at every position except DeShaun Thomas. I don't know how we would match up with that.

And Deshaun Thomas is good enough to beat a team on his own, so in that way I like Arizona.

Cotton has no chance against DeShaun Thomas IMO unless he limits his touches by playing full denial.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

What's hurting more is your shooting under the basket. That's 3 or 4 misses under the basket.

I am convinced at this point in the year it's not about match ups as much as how the stars and moon align in that 2-hour window of time.

                              GO SHOX!!!
