I get the support your local business angle, I really do. I bought a massive amount of Shocker gear from Tad's and Sports Time not too long ago. It's just really weird to me to buy a Sweet 16 t-shirt when we are still in the dance. If there ever was a jinx, that would be it. Now buying them after we win the national championship to put together a collage as fastbow and jocoshock mentioned would be a great idea. I would just buy them AFTER we hoist the trophy.

Imagine bumping into coach at Dillon's with a Sweet 16 t-shirt on. I would expect a smile and a sarcastic, "so you're satisfied then"? When we were chanting Sweet Sixteen at the rally the other day, coach quickly changed it to Final Four. His team AND fanbase's mentality are very important to him. And he wants us all to be unsatisfied.

If I run into Coach in the grocery store, the conversation wouldn't be about my shirt. It would be to ask why his @$$ wasnt in LA with the team.

          No worries here.

Two problems with that. 1) Round-specific merch has a tendency to vanish once your team moves past the round. So Cold, if you want that Sweet 16 shirt, grab it now, because I don't expect they'll have a second run of them. 2) I'm in Texas, so I have to strike when the iron is hot. I can't stroll down to Dillions, the bookstore, Sports Time, or even my local RallyHouse (which you know as Kansas Sampler) and grab Shocker gear. So I grab it whenever I can.

And 1972Shocker, it would. Even more impressive since I won't have a chance to set foot in Kansas until well after the Tourney has come and gone.
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

So did you call and get a shirt, or order online?

Yeah, I want one of each, don't care if it makes sense!
I just want to stand on land...

If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a Creighton fan, I think I'd shoot the Creighton fan twice.

Precisely why I am not wearing it until at least after April 8th or so ;) ....more of a "shirt for my collection" thing right now. :)

Had family ship me one. Thought about buying one online, but the online selections were less than satisfactory.

Dillons and Kansas Sampler (NEKAH chain) can go eat a bag of Richards.
                          Agreed.

Dillons is ALL about the "Sunflower Showdown" with KU and K-State. Eff them. The ONLY time they put out WSU merchandise is when the coals are hot. They are a slap to the face to Wichita IMO.

Just think of it this way Cold, you can buy it just for the fact that Creighton fan has never had the opportunity to do so.

Anybody who bought Sweet 16 shirts doesn't mean they're satisfied with the results. It's nice to celebrate the accomplishments we've made though. How about this? Did you even think you'd be creating a thread like this a short 3 weeks ago after an Evansville loss at home?

If they make it to the Elite 8, Final Four, and National Champs, I'll buy 3 more shirts. I'm not satisfied.
