I finally pulled the trigger. Didn't even want to ask my wife about going to LA after sticking her with the kids for 4 days while I was in Salt Lake, but she thought it would be ridiculous if I didn't go.

For those still contemplating and don't want to be off work more than 2 days, the most cost effective option I found currently available was on Frontier: MCI to SNA Thursday morning then Airtran: LAX to ICT Sunday morning. Total was around $600.

We're staying at the Beverly Hills Hilton...I'm told that's where Whitney Houston died, so it must be good.

My wife and I just got going after watching all the post game shows from last night on TIVO. We got back home around midnight from the Staples Center.
WSU fans were great last night. They really represented well!!! We met some really great Shocker Fans yesterday. Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and fans. We will be back tomorrow. I hope to be able to sing "I Love L.A." after the game. Good luck and of course "Play Angry!!!"

Anyone in LA looking for beer and bball Friday there is a place in El Segundo ( just south of LAX) called Rock and Brews. Craft beers, food, big screens and a little Gene Simmons thrown in for good measure. Address is 143 Main St El Segundo for those with wheels. Lets go Shockers!!
