Creighton would have gotten blown out by the zags

I've thought about this quite a bit, and I agree. I think the reason Saint Mary's handled Creighton was because they were used to playing the best team in the country at being "Creighton." Gonzaga plays the Creighton game at an elite level and with decent defense.

Speaking of other school's message boards - here's a gem I found on the KSU site.

It will seem a little bit stupid to have K-State (who is afraid to go to Wichita to play WSU) and Gonzaga (whose best team in school history got knocked out of the NCAAs by WSU) playing in WSU's backyard as if they are bringing some sort of exhibition of big time college basketball to the Air Capitol.

Saw that ealier today. Got a good laugh out of it.

This post season has again proven my own personal premise that, typically, K-State fan/alum has 1/10th the delta-bravo factor as compared to KU fan/alum. In certain ways, it sometimes seems like K-State fan/alum and WSU fan/alum are on the same team in the bigger picture.
