      • Hey Shocker fans! Congrats on the win last night and your tourney success! Glad to see you guys doing so well. Keep up the good work!!!

        By the way, am I the only one (besides all of you of course) that doesn't view this as an upset? I think if these two teams played ten times the Shockers would win at least half, if not more. Love how they keep saying how Gonzaga lost to a team that had 6 losses in the Missouri Valley Conference, as if the MIGHTY West Coast Conference is so powerful and we are so weak. Just goes to show you that sportswriters in general are sheeple and just follow the group think mentality.

        Great win, keep it rolling! Indiana State fans are pulling for you!

        PS - you were asking what the symbol Marshall is doing means, don't you now travel to LA or the west coast for the next round of the tourney? I think that is what it is for. Not positive though.

          No kidding! I feel exactly the same way. Thanks! :)

          • Picture Story: The No. 1 ranking and No. 1 seed are irrelevant footnotes now, Gonzaga’s season ending here on Saturday night following a back-and-forth, 76-70 loss to No. 9 seed Wichita State in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

            I wonder, if a foul was called on the Zags on this play.

            Just wondering.

              I remember this pic. The ball was out on Pangos' foot and the turnover was called against the Shockers.

                  Which is pretty amazing considering there were 3 Shox calling timeout as Early was getting mauled.
                  Go Shocks!!

                  • Just saw this on twitter

                    "@GottliebShow Odds of Wichita St. (a .330 team during the regular season) hitting their last 7 from behind the arc? 2346-to-1"

                    These guys didn't just beat the odds against anyone, they did it against the #1 team in the country. Clutch.

                      Great stuff. BTW, I know we have only seen a small portion of the locker rooms in some of these videos but is it me or do the look kind of Spartan?

                      Which is actually OK. I think that is perfect for a team that approaches things with the mentality that the Shocks do.

                      • Per Nolan, RPI = 23.

                        CU = 21.

                            we shot 16-48 for two games or .333 so all we did was hit our average. we also missed a whole bunch in a row - evened out

                                That is clearly a shot clock violation. Or at least, that's what one referee saw and called. How we weathered the officiating in this game AND held off the LEGIT #1 team in the country on a neutral floor still amazes me. Probably will for a long time. A long, but very enjoyable time.
