Baker, FVV, and White were all mentioned above and all answered the bell. Now look for Wiggy to be assigned a mission and will also answer the calling. When you have a roster from top to bottom can do the needed deed, our foes no not how to prepare properly for us.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

The Shockers got contributions from up and down the roster, including a timely three by White, who was only recently given a "yellow" light by Marshall to take that shot.

Guess I have to defend Jake yet again. All you have to do is look at his shot. He has good fundamentals. I am pretty sure he was recruited as a shooting SF. Yes, he lost is confidence in limited attempts and shooting is all about confidence. So did TC and he regained it. All good shooters do and I still think Jake IS a good shooter. Both JW and CE have been forced into PF duty but GM uses them both as spread four players who screen and pop out for perimeter shots.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Cle is a SF who plays as a stretch 4 because of our roster. White was NEVER recruited as a SF type. He's a PF who can shoot. There's a difference.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

exactly...... but the PF is REPLACED by a SF who is a perimeter threat. STRETCH four means four on the perimeter which stretches the defense out away from the basket using FOUR perimeter shooting threats. how can you name it after a position that is eliminated?

I think we are splitting hairs here. The offense was devised for teams that LACKED a true PF and couldn't play BIG in the paint. In order to level the playing field an advantage was sought on the perimeter by inserting two shooting SF's. That forces the team with a traditional big PF to make an adjustment to be able to guard FOUR perimeter shooters. It also opens up driving lanes for guys like MA. You are right only in the sense that the SF subbing for the PF does have the ability to play the perimeter but it normally IS NOT a traditional PF type. MOST PF's are not good shooters. Its for teams that just can't match up with another team that has a beast at PF. We have a problem doing that when EO or CJ are not in the game.
