And on a side note, I love how Marshall always has a bit of an edge with the tools who interview him and act like it's totally shocking (pun intended?) that WSU can actually hang with the "big boys." He's a great standard bearer for not just WSU, but MVC as well.

I have looked at a couple of Pitt boards. One had a 13 page game thread. I am still searching for any positive comment or compliment about the Shocks. I think it's time to give up. Hope Pitt enjoys the ACC.

There is a thread titled "fisted by the shockers", I think that is about the best we are going to get.

Should have been defensive player of the year. I guess he will just have to be win it the next 2 years. What a gutsy tough-nosed kid.

If you would have told me before the game that we would be 2 of 18 from beyond the arc I'm thinking we lose by 20. Inside the arc was awsome. The guys really came to play today. Why wouldn't Pitt play zone against us? I'm glad they didn't but that just doesn't compute. Really looking forward to the game on saturday.

I saw a few posts saying WSU had better athletes and that Gotlieb's comment about a whuppin, was accurate.

I am very proud of the Shox. Especially for the Seniors who now have tasted victory in the Dance. It would have been gut wrenching for me to see those Seniors walk out the arena without knowing what it felt like to win a game in the NCAA's.

Hopefully, this victory will infuse the Shox with even more confidence (especially from the perimeter - slow down guys, no need to rush), and propel them to a Sweet 16 appearance.

I'll will jump on Cold's EO bandwagon and say if he can use his quickness to keep up and hound Kelly Olynick all day long, we have a chance in this game.
