Ku (but not for any reason listed yet) I want them to be the first 1 seed to lose to a 16!

And even though I have Indiana winning it all I wish every big 10 school would lose in the first round. I get so tired of hearing that they are the best conference in basketball this year but yet I have to watch 50 to 45 games. When the valley plays those games its just lack of skill says people on the outside, when the big 10 plays those games its just good defense.

I am torn on Creighton too. Make the valley money or go 1 and done? Tough for me to decide on which I want.

And I have said it before, I dont understand the hate for Duke on this thread. I understand people dont like BCS schools but if there is a team that goes about it the right way it would be Duke. They dont recruit thugs, or 1 and done guy very often (more so recently than in the past). They will play almost anyone. No they dont go on to play true road games in the Non conference very often but if we were in their position we wouldnt either. Coach K is the whiner and complainer as some BCS coaches (cough Boeheim cough). He will whine during games just like any other coach but doesnt take it media very often.

It's not hate for me. I just dislike bandwagon teams whose fans have no real ties, they just root for them while they are winning.

I agree. But I have to say, the only thing that would be better than the chickenhawks going one & done, would be for them to win every game until the meet us in the Championship Game, at which point we proceed to kick their tails up and down the court for forty minutes and win the the game by forty points.

I have a few: Creighton, Florida Gulf Coast, and New Mexico.


Creighton rationale is obvious. Blue Crew is annoying. Echenique and Gibbs are annoying. The outrageous love of McDermott is annoying. Omaha is annoying. Blue Jay Underground is annoying. The Clink is annoying. Ed Servais is about the only thing in Omaha that is redeemable. As big of a Cards fan as I am it pains me to no end that Bob Gibson went there.

Florida Gulf Coast are just a cocky bunch. Really turns me off to have to watch a FCGU game. One of their guards seems kind of like he could be a hoodlum.

New Mexico bothers me because of Alford. Can't stand him. Probably the most arrogant guy to ever live in Springfield. UNM gets away with more handchecking than just about any squad in NCAA history. Watch them play those poor Harvard boys. You will see. My goodness boys play the game with your feet and not your hands. You see more clutching and grabbing out of them than you would watching any cheesy 1980s workplace harassment video.
