I have no expectations in this one. This is as big as it gets. 3rd round of a heavyweight fight. The boys have fought like champions already this year.

They need to go play now. This game is for the players. Go out and make history.

      Go Shox.

No doubt both teams have their reasons. Both teams have worked very hard to get where they are today.....playing for a championship.

Doug is a special player and Creighton is executing at an insanely high level right now and they're adding Artino into the mix who's playing as well as GE and might have been the difference in the Drake game.

Our guys are as healthy as we've been in a long time and we're playing well and if anyone can lock down this BlueJay club, the Shocks can.

I hope it's a great game, it should be a great game. It's going to be an isane atmosphere in the Scottrade in a few hours. Creighton fans have come to St. Louis to crown their team. The possibility of any other finish has never crossed their minds I promise you. They've taken arrogance to an entirely new level, and I'll tell you something....it's justified. Their team is that good.

But we're pretty damned good too....and are guys are tougher. I hope they want it more...there was a whole lot of "want" wearing Shocker colors the last 2 days.

It is a GREAT DAY to be a Shocker.

        And damn it....it's our time.

        Go Shocks!!!

I say no way Doogie has another career game against us. That being said, I don't think this is going to be a cakewalk, either. Creighton is fairly deep and won their games rather easily. Same for us. Gets down to stopping Doogie, which I think we will do, 72-67.

Something is wrong with the raw data, but I double checked and that is what StatSheet has. GIGO, I guess

                    A) Hobble their "quick out of the gate" routine.
                    B) Keep the adrenaline on an even keel, I think Ron Baker helps the Shox accomplish this. (Ayummmmm meditate with me).
                    C) Defend/stop the lob.
                    It's easy as 1,2,3

It's gonna' be loud, I am so proud, of MY SHOCKERS!

Once more, because I believe it, don't let Gibbs control their offense. We have to find
a way to disrupt him. Take HIM out of HIS game and you destroy their offenisve
                        continuity which includes McD.

Since we couldn't make the trip to Lou, we're tailgating at home. Ribs are on the smoker and there is a nice haze of hickory in the air. I believe our Shocks can go it but it will take effort on D and we will need one of the better offensive performances of the season.

                          Go Shocks!!!!

Look, Creighton is going to score, maybe even in bunches. To win championship games, you've GOT to give max effort every second ESPECIALLY when the opposition can light you up like the Jays can.

Our guys have reached the summit and now it's time to give the other guy the boot. Take what you want guys.

Maximum effort, every play, and that includes you too Shocker Fan. Whining about the officials and getting excited only when we go on a run isn't going to cut it. 100% from tip to buzzer. No excuses. You're already here, right? Why not live the dream?

CU fans are displaying an arrogance I can't ever remember. These folks are beyond annoying. They've come with no thought except to walk away with a trophy (and suck down gallons of wine as fast as they can). It's up to all of us to do our part to see that doesn't happen.

It's been a hell of a ride this season already....I see no reason to not take the next step tomorrow afternoon.

Good luck Shocks, and to everyone out there.

Mr. Cotton proved yesterday that not putting him on the Conference Defensive Team was indeed a travesty. Brown had 9 points with 3-12 shootiing from the field. When T. Brown is not fully covered, he could easily score in the 20's. Today, Mr. Cotton has the opportunity still again to silence the critics.

With FVV and Baker coming off the bench and playing like starters all over the floor, it keeps the intensity levels solid as other teams begin to wear out as the game gets tiresome during the last 10-15 minutes. Wiggins could also get a shot today to provide some needed Offense. This win will indeed take our very best efforts and execution on both sides of the court for as close to 40 minutes as humanly possible.

Starting today, we will be playing only very good teams. Today is a way to jump start this journey with a positive note and an exclaimation point that our beloved Shocks are for real versus anybody and everybody.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
