Cotton was in foul trouble in Omaha. He couldn't spend the whole game on McDermott.

Anyone know who is announcing the game tomorrow?

McDermott meet Tekele. He'll be your personal tour guide for the next 40 minutes. Visitors under Tekele's guidance aren't normally allowed to touch the ball, but you will be allowed to have the ultimate on court viewing experience of a live MVC tournament championship game. Should your friends decide to tempt fate and pass you the ball, Tekele does give up 4 or 5 inches, but that's okay because you can't jump and he can. If you decide to try a step back jump shot, the resistance you feel is not velcro; that's just Tekele being more annoying than a piece of double sided carpet tape. Do feel free to try dribbling around him but be forewarned his sidestep is quicker than a gazelle and wider than Echenique's butt.

On the other hand, if Tekele is not available to be your tour guide and you decide to torch us for 20+ points, please tip HC3GM appropriately.

I'm very annoyed with Indiana State. They didn't even show up to that game with Creighton today, and Creighton was able to play tons of bench players because of it. 26.5% on FGs, 7.7% on 3s ... just a miserable, laughable performance by a team that looked like they might make the tournament a month back.

Creighton played 8 bench players in that game. I'm fairly sure two of them were fans, and one of them might have been a coach.

All the more reason to take Creighton down tomorrow. They are overconfident and ready to be punched. We have nothing to lose - time to let it all hang out and have some fun - we shoot the lights out!

If the old adage is true that solid D. wins ships, our beloved Shocks have a great chance to win the Lew. Many of us picked Creighton to win the Conference and the Shocks would win the Lou. Logic being that with all of the new infux of players, we would peak right about NOW. The 2 previous games with the birds show that this game is up for grabs and will be close. However, I feel the Shockers are in a zone now with their confidence growing, their Defense ready and able, we will hit shots, and first and foremost of possibilities, we will be the team with "the eye of the tiger." We all understand it will take our A game to win and I believe we will do just that and win this huge game. That would be grand and it is indeed Our Turn.

Now is the time to continue building our new winning streak.

                          It's on like Donkey Kong.

I love having Ron back, but it's time for Cle' to shine.

Defense does in fact win championships. But sometimes 70% FG shooting plays a role.

Look, Creighton is going to score, maybe even in bunches. To win championship games, you've GOT to give max effort every second ESPECIALLY when the opposition can light you up like the Jays can.

Our guys have reached the summit and now it's time to give the other guy the boot. Take what you want guys.

Maximum effort, every play, and that includes you too Shocker Fan. Whining about the officials and getting excited only when we go on a run isn't going to cut it. 100% from tip to buzzer. No excuses. You're already here, right? Why not live the dream?

CU fans are displaying an arrogance I can't ever remember. These folks are beyond annoying. They've come with no thought except to walk away with a trophy (and suck down gallons of beer as fast as they can). It's up to all of us to do our part to see that doesn't happen.

It's been a hell of a ride this season already....I see no reason to not take the next step tomorrow afternoon.

Good luck Shocks, and to everyone out there.

                            Go Shocks!!!!!
