all 22 million in profit wsu makes a year on that pays for our seats.
They loyal fans are there.
and the half of a student section that is there.
is way way way louder than the bitter old negative shocker fans who make up the rest of our arena, and sit there arms crossed frowning, checking their blackberry every few mins for the stock ticker. lol."Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"

id rather have a student section half full of devoted shocker fans.
then a student section full of fair weather fans, who are checkign the KU score every 5 mins.
They can all go to lawrence get on their knees and kiss Bill Selfs arse.
for all we care.
The real fans are there.
You didnt see coach marshall making way across the arena to thank all the fan swho sit the whole game.
no he came and he thanked the students. who still show up at 11am and rediculous times like that.
Who arent just there because its an investment they are there for the team.
They arent there to criticized they are there to encourage.
and it was that that marshall appreciated. not the wealthy arms crossed frowing critical shocker fans u see around our arena."Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"
CGM--->"Hell yea, and we'll beat their ass."

Originally posted by ShockerFeverWell that makes perfect sense.. lol.. Since obviously non-student fans outnumber student fans by a healthy 9 to 1 ratio, I'd say that's a little unfair. The fair way would be to look at the occupancy percentage rate..(cool, I like that term.. OPR). Student section OPR is a little over 50%. Non-student OPR is a little over 90%... Game over.

30 on the ACT.
Turned down a full ride from the music department. Currently taking no scholarship money so others who need it more can have it.
Why are you still here, ShockerFever? You've got your work cut out for you, searching 400,000 people for 9,500 people to fill Koch Arena...Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

Music department, eh? Alto or soprano?
Your math logic is flawed. That 30 is making less and less sense. It's not even worth arguing. Probably the weirdest, yet, most incomprehensible logic I've ever seen attempted on a sports message board.
Why are you still here? Isn't there some test to study for, or homework to do, or some choir practice to attend?Deuces Valley.

I never said I got a 30 on the math section, but by my logic, it would seem to be easier to find 9,000 willing people out of 400,000 than 1,000 willing people out of 10,000. That's 10% of the student body compared to 2.25% of the population of Wichita. Let's round that up to 3% to allow for unforeseen circumstances and unsold student tickets that can be picked up by the public. That's being generous, since 3% of 400,000 is 12,000.
Looking at those numbers, there is even less of an excuse for an empty seat ANYWHERE in the arena. If students slacking on their seats irks you so much, find someone who is willing to buy the ticket. It only takes 3% of Wichita to pack Koch Arena. I don't exactly see what's so faulty about my math...
As for homework, it's done. I'll give you my teacher's names if you want so you can check if you're so worried about my grades...Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

I'm not gonna deal with the whole number bullshyt logic because frankly I don't wanna think and don't really care. Simply put, it's sad that the free tickets the student receive can't fill up over half the student section. And these are actual students who are actually attending the university, the same university these players go to and see everyday. But no.. only half-full.
You'd figure with how loud and proud and true the student fans are that they'd at least fill up that relatively small student section that's in place.. but no.. They only come when WSU is winning. That means over half the students that normally attend WSU games are bandwagoners. That's a bad percentage to have for WSU students.
As for the homework, I' m not the one who's brought that lameass excuse up. It was you. I don't care about your grades. I care about the excuses you give, which should make no difference from 2006 to 2008.
Ok.. I'm done for a little bit. You can have the last word, as if that wasn't a possibility anyways.. :roll:Deuces Valley.
