Per Accuweather, the lastest forecast is we will have 12"-24" of snow through Tuesday.

I live in the semi-country. I will never make it out to the road.

We are in the midst of one our most kickest assest seasons in recent memory, and there is just so much hate going on in multiple threads. I don't understand it. I would have thought we would be all giddy and rallying together in a Shocker love fest after the last three beat downs. But instead there are darts being tossed all over the place.

What's going on here? Maybe we are just wearing the Shox' anger on our own sleeves?

There is a single rallying point right now, and Evansville is the most important target and is currently in the cross hairs. So can we just go back to making fun of them, like in good old times?

Yep, just cuz our boys are playin' angry doesn't mean we should be postin' angry.

You mean I still can't harbor anger over the SIU debacle? Which dropped us out of the rankings and lowered our seed from a 6 to a 10?

We all agree that they shouldn't have lost that game. Harbor anger if you want but be realistic. SIUs RPI is around
                    180. TCU is a around 240 and KU lost to them too on the road. It happens.

Well I'm not the police. But, I'd rather see Shoxer fans sniping at a bottom feeding SIU than at each other. Especially when the Shoxer train is in flat out whoop ass, chugga choo choo mode.

Trust in the powers that be to get roads passable. I am coming in from an hour and a half west of Dodge. We as fans in CKA need to be juiced for this one. We need to make the environment "shock-and-awe" hostile for EU, the men on the court will do their part too I am sure!

The importance of this game cannot be under estimated. Besides this game locking up a share of the MVC title, consider the following:

                            1) Only 2 teams in the top 30 RPI have lost to a 200+ team, KU (9 RPI) and WSU (24 RPI).

                            2) Only 5 teams in the top 50 RPI have lost to a 200+ team, add Akron (42), LA Tech (45), and Iowa St (49).

                            3) Only 3 teams in the top 30 have lost to two 101-200+ teams, Miami (2), Minnesota (19), Belmont (20), and WSU (24).

                            4) Only 9 teams in the top 50 have lost to two 101-200+ teams, add NC St (31), Illinois (36), St. Mary's (37), CU (38), and Iowa St (49).

                            5) Only 2 teams in the top 50 have lost to BOTH a 200+ team and a 101-200 team, WSU (24) and Iowa St (49).

                            6) Only 1 team in the top 30 has a worse SOS than WSU (97 SOS), Middle Tennessee (127) and they have only 1 loss to 101-200+ teams.

                            7) Only 5 teams in the top 50 has a worse SOS than WSU (97), add St Mary's (115), Akron (138), LA Tech (172), and Oregon (107). Akron, La Tech, and Oregon have only 1 loss to 101-200+ teams while St. Mary's 2 losses are to 101-200 teams.

                            8) There are no teams in the top 50 with more than 2 losses to 101-200+ teams, even the one's with a worse SOS.

                            9) Evansville's RPI is 115.

I feel another 90+ game is certainly a distinct possibility.

                              WSU: 96

                              EU: 66

For me, if the shockers can't be expected to close big time on a game like this one, we don't need to entertain any post season hopes.

And I do have postseason hopes. Losing this game would be a monster letdown. If there was any one game that we should be able to play our best basketball it's this one.

If you are picking a close game trying to be a realist when we are at home, on senior night, for the ship, on a winning streak over some of the best in the valley, against a possible play in team who has one coming from us after that foot-shooting performance earlier in the season, you are no realist at all. You are just a devils advocate or cynical. This should be us on our best night against a normal, okay team on the road. All signs point to a blowout unless Evansville plays way over their heads.
