Except in those cases, the OTHER coach gets to pick the shooter from the available players on the court. Still an upgrade over Ehimen. The case with Cotton would have been different as it was a flagrant foul call. If a player is injured on that call, his coach chooses the shooter. 3G could also pick the shooter if a player was removed because of blood.

They changed the rule to the opposing coach picking the shooter because some teams would fake an injury to put a better shooter at the line and then the guy would check in at the next available time.

That is why I picked EO. Hell, having one of the opponent players trying to miss 2 free throws would shot better than EO.

False. There were 10 players on the court along with the three officials when the FTs took place. If they weren't, that's nine technical fouls :)

They were all gathered around halfcourt, but still on the court. If Cotton had left the game due to injury, he wouldn't have been able to return until either 3G used a timeout in order to "buy" his way back into the game or wait for the next dead ball.
