AND...................whatever the Carmicheal call....it DID NOT change the outcome of the game! ISU got 2 points off free throws, and WSU got 2 points off free throws. Even-steven. Redbird lost the ball out of bounds and Wichita St. capitalized.
Maybe next time Redbirds....don't allow a team who only scored 20 points in the first half to go off for 48 points in the second half on
YOUR OWN HOME COURT!!!

ilsu fans are trying to justify this sh*t, like they did last year after wilkins kicked stutz between the knees, or whatever it was. man, if somebody from wichita state had done that, i'd be ashamed and a bit upset with that player.
'shocker teams must be too nice under marshall sometimes. they play hard, but they play clean basketball. and then the fans go after the shockers post ilsu game. no class in normal.

They took throwing elbows out of the game so no one would get their blocks knocked off. Rebounding while violently flailing your arms used to be a basketball move too.
If they removed elbow-thrashing, presumably they would feel the same way about pretending you are playing Double Dragon while rebounding. So even with no more information, that's probably a flagrant. But when you watch Carmichael stare at him the whole way, knock him down, and then continue to stare over him, you would have to be insufferably naive to think it was all a big accident.

I have seen nobody bring this angle up, but the way the game went was perfect for us. Lets say they call the Flagrant on JC immediately and we get 2 shots and the ball. We make the free throws and D will hits a 3 to tie it up. Well instead of being aggressive at this point we stay back, and ISUr takes the last shot.Follow me on twitter: https://twitter.com/Shox_KCfan

Did they make an error regarding the shooter? Probably. That's the only point there where you can say they interpreted the rule incorrectly. But then again, if they called the foul when they were supposed to and Tekele made one out of two (being he shoots 58% from the line), we're down 4 after the FTs instead of 5. Moot point.
