I think if anybody should be apologizing here, it should be Cold for bumping this puppy back up to the top without any logical reason. What was said at the time was perfectly reasonable. That's why you didn't see Cold much in it til now. Also, when you bump a thread to tear another player down, it doesn't look too good either.

Bath salts? Yep, that's it. Stocked up on a lot those when I hit the grocery store hard yesterday.

Apologize for what? I, and I'm sure others too, meant every word I said AT THE TIME. Van Vleet was playing better, Armstead was blowing games. I mentioned it wouldn't be the worst thing ever done if FVV got the start during that time. Oh the humanity.

I already commended Armstead for finally stepping up, playing under control, taking better shots, and being more efficient with those. I'm already on the record for saying a better Armstead = a better WSU. When he plays like crap and costs games, he's gonna hear about it, just like when he hits big shots to help win games you wanna hear about it. It works both ways.

A lot of people cannot admit when they are wrong; hell, I never do. With that in mind I am glad HCGM wasn't "done" with MA.

For those that think their comments were about three games only, go back and read the first page because that just isn't true. Most were undervaluing MA's contribution beyond any kind of rational thought.

i didnt join the conversation to bash MA. i chipped in my two cents because i didn't
understand how JW was attacked during a start fred now thread, so, are there any
apologies forthcoming for dragging him into the fray? i've stated some of his
rankings in team stats so i don't see how he has been a "non factor" and his defense
on minnerath last saturday certainly WAS a factor. in addition, i was attacked and
called a nasty name for no other reason than defending a player

What was said, was said. There was a 3 game skid and when teams start running into trouble, regardless of which sport it is, fans want change to right the ship. Football fans call for a quarterback change. The PG is the quarterback. None of us are the coach. He chooses what to do. Fans blow off steam on sites like this. The ship is righted and all is good now. That's all that should matter. Player bashing should stop because there is no reason to do it now. WSU is winning and that is what matters.
