Especially since creighton will lose in the bb. That probably won't help their rpi.

Just looking at the numbers here. Creighton hasn't beat anybody better than like #50.

If they draw a top 50 rpi team, I don't have much reason to believe they will win it. Especially with a loss to d- education who proceeded to lose to the what 4-15 bears (counting d1 wins only)

Aren't you selling Creighton short? They wouldn't have lost to Drake without Doug Mc's illness that game. But without McDermott, Creighton is probably below average. They'll win their Bracketbuster game.

I'm selling them short for the fun of it. Looking at who they would probably draw, I do think they would probably win.

Isn't it at least mildly intriguing that their best win is Indiana st right now though? :) even without paying attention to the drake loss...

Wisconsin is technically a better win than Indiana st but thy are 47 and 50ish. Those are the two strongest wins so far. Based on what we know about them as a rival, I was probably selling them short because we know they are good. However, on paper that isn't a terribly strong resume at the moment. The more I think about it, they really need to win that be game.

SoW played -- 18 min in first half shooting 7-15, 0-4 from 3 and 3-3 FT for 17 pts while Drake led by 16!
SoW played -- 16 min in 2nd half shooting 1-3, 0-2 and 0-0 while Creighton outscored Drake 41-30.

Maybe CU should actually bench SoW and they could have won the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was sick. If he had played a better 2nd half when the illness seemed to hit him, they would have won the game. If you saw him sitting on the bench for part of the second half, he was definitely not feeling good.

Just sayin' when he wasn't feeling so bad, his team "lost" by 16; when he was feeling poorly in the second half, his team won by 11. That is a 27 point turnaround.
