"since Wessel is not playing and is going to redshirt, is he still enrolled and going to school?"

            paraphrased, but pretty close..........

After the Echinique dunk and was fouled by CJ and E was shooting the "and one" the ball came off and no Shocker moved to the ball and Gibbs grabbed it. 3G said he turned and looked at the assistants (he says he has 6) He says it is their responsibility to be engaged with the players when they are in front of the bench. They are supposed to ask who is blocking out who and who has who etc but no one said anything. In his vernacular he says he "asked if anyone was going to get involved in the game". I'm sure it was more punctuated than that. Part of the problem with the players was the ref told them it was going to be a two shot foul so Hall and CJ were confused to start with. Marshall told Hall that he was a 5th year senior and if he was confused he needs to have the ref clear it up at once. And with the staff not being "engaged" it wasn't pretty.

He also said EW is a smart young man and would probably graduate on time. They talked about the fact that he would still have a year left when he graduates and EW told him he loves playing bb here and would want to play his fifth year. Apparently he is in Engineering.

Said RB cannot condition due to his foot so his return will be delayed while he tries to get into shape again. Told the ref they were going to foul on the last play but he was the one covering the far baseline and it wasn't his call. The last thing they worked on in tonights practice was the last 8 seconds of the game type situations. 3G said it was the loudest it has ever been while he has been here. Loves the configuration of CKA due to the proximity of the fans to the floor. MK said the quest might have twice as many seats but because its a new building and has different building codes the fans aren't as close and its not nearly as loud as CKA. 3G says we don't beat cretin without CH and he wonders how much better he will get as he plays more and more.

This is ridiculous!!! With the great success the Shockers are having I can't believe that not one of the sports bars in this city won't step up sponsor the coach's show. You can't tell me it costs that much plus you get enough publicity out if it. That's why I stay home to watch away games. Why go out and patronize these places when they can't even support the coach's show.

Isn't Wichita Staye is a good school for a graduate engineering degree?

I remember the play - the whole thing seemed out of sorts (for reason . . .).
Love to hear what is really going on down there . . .

depends on what engineering school he is in. Aerospace with NIAR is nationally known.

That might be the most unbelievable thing I have ever heard. Way to smack the coach right in the mouth for all his hard work. I will be addressing this issue with the mgmt of whatever sports bar I visit next. I hope everybody else on ShockerNet that lives in Wichita does the same. Totally disrespectful. I'm angry once again... *sigh*

That is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I will boycott every sports bar in Wichita if that is the case. Shoot Mike Cohen had a weekly TV show on Channel 10 every week and we can't even get one sports bar in town these days to sponsor coach Marshall.
