Shout out to the student section. I have been going to Shocker games since about 2000 and have been a season ticket holder since 2002 and I have NEVER seen a better student section than the one at the Creighton game. My hat is off to them. They were organized, they were loud. Would love to see more of that. The students kept the entire crowd into the game ALL GAME LONG. I can't say enough good things about them. That is what we need every game . Hope this is the start of something that we see all the time. Does the student section have any kind of university funds that go to help offset expenses for any props that are used or are they on their own?

I'm not sure who bought the paper for the game (obviously one of the smaller expenses), but the fatheads of Flava Flav, Betty White, etc, are all owned by the athletic department and get handed out to students before the game. They come around and pick them back up at the end of the game.

Maybe this won't catch on, but I think this is a fantastic idea. Of course, this all starts with the students. If they can start this, it will spread. I ran it by my daughter and she was geeked about it. She did mention that there would be some "old people" that would probably just stand there.....she was probably referring to me.

Maybe the trick would be to do it during the ENTIRE run of that video. And you have to think that the team and coaches would totally love it. Would be a powerful visual of "we are in this together." Could call it Shocker Swagger United.

What is the most effective thing you have seen "waving" in the sections directly behind the baskets when the opposing player is shooting free throws? And do they work? If so, can we get them and at what expense? It would be nice to have them at each end behind the baskets -- after all there are two halves to the game and we do use both baskets.

One commercial I dislike seeing is the one where you got the 5 guys walking toward the camera in the tunnel in their white jerseys and you can tell Ron Baker's 'Wichita State' is in a different font. Let's act like a major program and start dressing our players in matching uniforms from Pete's Sake.

Did anyone notice that, just like KC mentions above, our uniforms last night were not uniform at all? About half the guys were wearing jerseys with the Wichita State lettering that is rounded, the other half were wearing the Wichita State that is flat and in a different font.

There was a hot chick with implants a few games ago. Yes, yes they DO work -- or at least they did for me. They're expensive and mainly for girls, but if that's your thing I say go for it. Yes, that would be nice.

I had an absolute blast in the student section during the Creighton game. Every single person, all the way up to the top was stoked to be there. I really wish it were like that for every game. I know we cant keep that energy all the time, but maybe we are on to something. Hopefully we can keep it going.
