its obvious that a NEW president does wonders for everyone on campus...including the mens basketball program...I love it, only complaint is the 15 minutes prior to tipoff could be better utilized...better screen videos, dim the lights, spotlights, things that pump up the crowd and hype the game up. Other then that, the marketing and promotion of our product has drastically improved

Beggs marketing was the "I am Wichita State" which I liked when it first came out.

The #watchus commercial is supposed to go online at some point -- I asked on Facebook yesterday and e-mailed the marketing people and they said they are working on it.

One commercial I dislike seeing is the one where you got the 5 guys walking toward the camera in the tunnel in their white jerseys and you can tell Ron Baker's 'Wichita State' is in a different font. Let's act like a major program and start dressing our players in matching uniforms from Pete's Sake.

Never noticed the font issue, but I like the commercial. My one year old son seems to really like the song as well...

The song playing under the video is "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore. It's an awesome song. Listened to it the other day on the way to the CU game and it just got me pumped and ready to go for the game.

It would be difficult to pull off, but at the spot in the video where the team is circled and swaying side to side, how cool would it be to have the whole arena doing that? Even just a little side to side in unison x 10,000. Would be a sight to behold.

Please tell me my sarcasm meter is broken. How anyone could not like that commercial is beyond me. It's the only and by far greatest wsu basketball commercial in my memory. The amount of excitement it gave me the first time I saw it last offseason is unprecedented other than actual game time situations. More please!!!

Maybe this won't catch on, but I think this is a fantastic idea. Of course, this all starts with the students. If they can start this, it will spread. I ran it by my daughter and she was geeked about it. She did mention that there would be some "old people" that would probably just stand there.....she was probably referring to me.

Shout out to the student section. I have been going to Shocker games since about 2000 and have been a season ticket holder since 2002 and I have NEVER seen a better student section than the one at the Creighton game. My hat is off to them. They were organized, they were loud. Would love to see more of that. The students kept the entire crowd into the game ALL GAME LONG. I can't say enough good things about them. That is what we need every game . Hope this is the start of something that we see all the time. Does the student section have any kind of university funds that go to help offset expenses for any props that are used or are they on their own?

FANTASTIC job by the students - you are to be commended. Spread the word - bringing the energy to the Creighton game like that was a major boost - keep it up like that, and you will become known as a part of being one of the greatest basketball destinations in the country. Keep up the great work!
