I love being quoted on Bear Nation: ATTN Bear Fans - When quoting me on your board in the future - please note that it was in reply to LuskingforGutting AKA Casey Garrison for President - a very passionate and delusional MSU fan. And please don't leave out the part about pretty much the entire city of Springfield being apathetic to the Bears.

That has been one of most difficult thing about moving from a city (Wichita) that is crazy about WSU athletics to a city (Springfield) that gives you that deer in the headlights look when you say something about the Bears.

Sorry for the rant Shocker Fans - I don't post on BN. Makes me feel like I need to ask @WuShock Reaper for forgiveness or something. :disgust:

For those wanting to watch the game, but who don't have access to the local broadcast, you can go to the MSU website and sign up for access to the stream of the game (through CBSSPORTS.com). Sign up for monthly access and then cancel your subscription after the game. Cost is $9.95. I watched this last year this way and the feed was decent.

Shox need to start putting together games where we dismantle teams. This could be a good start.
Hey I don't blame you for hating on my boy Kyle Weems. He did own you all. And a native Kansan to boot.

I will grant you that he was sketchy off the court. Not in a legal sense but he just wasn't the greatest of dudes. One of the things that I really like about the kids that we have now is that they are all honorable young men. You'd let them date your daughters, etc. I know that doesn't matter to everyone but I like supporting a squad of upstanding student-athletes.

I'm glad he came back for his senior year just so he could eat some humble pie. His junior year on court theatrics (goggles and throat slashing) was indeed a class act. Even Jamar Howard was more classy than that.

I wouldn't call going 3-7 in his career against WSU "owning". I'd call that "getting owned".

                Check your facts again, dopey.

                    Really??? In MSU 3 wins out 10, Weems scored 11,11, and 7. When he scored 21, 20, 19, 17, 16, 15, and 10 MSU lost.

Watch how the game is officiated tonight. My guess is much tighter than the CU game. Kudos to the officials for letting them play on Saturday.
Bears shoot 30 FT's but we still win by 6.

                        Reality check:

Kyle Weems teams went 3-7 in his career against WSU.

                        Freshman: 1-2
                        Sophomore: 0-3
                        Junior: 2-0
                        Senior: 0-2

I was being facetious. I did call him my boy after all. And he was one hundred percent not the type of kid I wanted representating this state or university. But his junior year is what I remember most.

Funny aside, after clinching the regular season title Weems and most of the team go out that night to a couple of bars. Anyhow, he is acting a fool and the management of the establishment called Cuonzo. So Cuonzo goes waltzing in there in the middle of the night, takes Weems to a private room and slaps him upside the head. I can't one hundred percent vouch for the story but have heard it from two people that are typically correct. Plus it is too good of a story to not be true.

Thank you for documentation. I didnt recall actually losing a lot of those games, but didnt have the numbers. I thought "owned" was a bit of a stretch.
