How many D-1 schools does Missouri have?
I believe MO has 5. UMKC, MU, HSU, SEMO and SLU.

New Mexico just has the two, UNM and NMSU.

Utah has BYU, Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley and I believe Southern Utah.

Wyoming does have just the one.

I think each Dakota has two.

Minnesota is another that may only have the one.

Wisconsin has Wisconsin, Marquette, Milwaukee and Green Bay.

Oklahoma has four. 0U, OSU, Tulsa and ORU

Arizona has three, soon to be four. Zona, ASU, Northern AZ and soon to be Phoenix.

Nevada has two, UNLV and UN-R

Nebraska has three, UNO, UNL and CU.

    Hawaii has one.

    Idaho has two.

    Montana has two

    New Hampshire has one.

    Maine has one.

    Vermont has one.

I think all of the above are accurate.

It is hard to believe a state as big as Minnesota would only have one division 1 school.

So it comes down to a dozen or so that could do it. And I think Utah can be ruled out. The Dakotas too. Kansas, Nevada and New Mexico have the best chance to have multiples. Just having 1 team from a state, wouldn't be too hard to pull off at some time.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

It looks like California, with 24, would be able to get all of theirs into the top 25.
